What Causes A Sudden Drop In WBC Levels In Blood?

Question: i took my monthly CBC for CLL all was good.One odd thing my WBC which has been high for a year, up to 32,000 all of a sudden dropped back to 12.5 normal range. My Dr. says she does not know why but is going to check with lab. Do you have any input as to why this happen?

I believe there could be some fault at the laboratory side. Either error in printing the report or the counting machine error.
