Question : what would cause tingling sometimes almost an itchy sensation going down my arms and legs

If these symptoms are recurrent ,they may need evaluation.A detailed medical history and physical examination is necessary.
It seems to be related with a condition that affects your peripheral nerves.
Some common causes including :
-Vitamin B12 folate , Vit D deficiency
-Diabetes
-Problems with spinal cord like herniated disks
You may need to run some routine tests including :
-Complete blood count
-Blood sugar
-Vit B12 ,Folate and Vit D level

If all the above tests are normal and after the neurological examination the doctor notice any decreased sensation in legs and arms ,he can order more specific tests like MRI to exclude any condition or nervous system.
