Question : Hello.. my question is what would be the causes if their was a small wart like sore that developed on the out side of the vulva maybe big as half a dime or less.. Started out like a pimple.. I have been to afraid to go the doctor, at my age of 62..I am not sexually active.??

It is not necessary that wart will develop only in sexually active person.

If you cant do that, please answer the following.
1.Is there any pain or itch in the growth?
2.When you touch it, you feel the surface to be smooth or rough?
3.Is it a single growth or multiple small lesions are there?

Hello..I would like to thank you for trying to help me...From what I can tell from the lesion it is rough on top, only one at this time, and sometimes a little itching...Is their anything I can put on it without prescription??

Rough surface is usually felt in warts.
Probably it is a viral wart.
You can apply ointment tretinoin on that.
This may give you some relief.
It would however be better to meet a doctor and get yourself examined.
