Question : First time using Boric Acid pessaries 600mg. For a 6 month reoccurring yeast infection. Non reactive to over the counter treatment.
I inserted the first tablet last night, abdominal cramps after a few hours. Still having cramps 12 hours after insertion. Resulted to a hot water bottle to help with the cramps. Is this normal?

Brief Answer:
This is not normal, please consider these guidelines
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I share your concern
Boric acid pessaries may cause irritation and inflammation in urogenital tract which may manifest as abdominal cramps and burning sensation in vagina.
In my opinion you should ask your gynaecologist for other alternative like fluconazole group of pessaries.
meanwhile you stop using this and hot water bath or hip bath will definitely hep you
Please feel free to ask for follow up questions, I will be happy to help you
Best wishes
