Question : Hi i have abdomen discomfort for past 20 days i made ct scan om april all was normal. Will it b intestinal cancer. Pain comes and goes. If i take buscoban it goes. Will it be cancer.

                                    Brief Answer:
Intestinal cancer would have been diagnosed by CT
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Small intestinal cancers are rare.
Large intestinal cancers present wit bleeding per rectum, alternate diarrhoea and constipation, distension of abdomen, vomiting etc.
Just pain in the abdomen cannot be cancer.
As CT Scan is normal, nothing to worry.
It could be due to infection of the gut or Irritable bowel syndrome ( IBS ).
I prescribe Pre and Probiotic capsule to my patients with similar complaints.
Nothing to worry.
If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
