GERD and constipation
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
Abdominal distention and bloating is likely to be due to GERD and constipation. Esomeprazole along with itopride and sucralfate can provide adequate relief at maximum dose. Movcol XXXXXXX or sodium picosulfate can also be added as part of the treatment. They can be continued for a week at maintained minimum dose afterwards in consultation with your doctor. However if the symptoms persist despite adequate therapy described above then an Ultrasound abdomen/pelvis should be done to look for possibilities such as ascites, gall stones etc. An EKG can also be done just to be sure about excluding any cardiac cause. Most likely your symptoms will improve with the empiric treatment.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks
