Brief Answer:
You need endoscopy

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.

Since you are anemic and also having abdominal pain, I would advise early endoscopy.
Though peptic ulcer is a possible cause, taking your age in to consideration, malignancy should also be ruled out. So early endoscopy is a prudent thing to do.

As part of anemia work up, in addition to upper GI endoscopy, a peripheral blood smear test and Fecal occult blood test should also be done.

I hope that answers your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr.Kini
