Brief Answer:
likely related to acute gastritis or gastroenteritis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

I have read your query and understand the concern.

The feeling of tightness or fullness over upper abdomen is likely related to acute gastritis or gastroenteritis, the first possibility I would think in your case.

But it should be evaluated further and other possibilities should also be ruled out like gastric ulcer or any hepato-billiary involvement.

However, grade-II fatty liver and obesity is very unlikely linked to stomach tightness.

The underlying cause could be Helicobacter pylori infection or food allergy or stress or oily/spicy diet. We need to rule out them one by one by asking complete medical history, physical examination with some relevant tests.

So, you may need to undergo some routine blood investigations, H.pylori, liver function tests and abdominal ultrasound.

Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy should also be considered if above investigations reports remain inconclusive.

For that,I would suggest you to see physician or gastroenterologist for detailed medical history and clinical examination to detect the underlying the cause.

Further treatment course will be planned as per clinical findings and investigations reports. But you can take symptomatic treatment meanwhile. These remedies will be helpful for some symptomatic relief.

Continue with Antacids like Pantakind-DSR (pantoprazole) which will help to reduce excess acid production in stomach.

You can also add digene gel or liquid or ulcero-protective agents like sucralfate if you have gastric burning.

Take syrup Cremaffin plus 3 TSF at a bed time from the relief of constipation.

Apart from medications you should also be careful with your diet and physical movement.

Take plain foods like boiled rice and green leafy vegetables without adding spices or oil.

Complete avoid oily, spicy and fast foods. Prefer home foods.

Avoid eating full stomach at a time, rather that take small meals frequently.

Do not take rest immediately after having a meal. Walking slowly for half an hour will be helpful to prevent constipation.

Do morning exercises like walking or jogging which will reduce your stress level,if there is any.

Hope this helps and Let me know if you have more queries.

It would not be a stomach cancer right?

What are the symptoms. Little worried.

Will go for the test mentioned by visiting doctor personally.

Thanks,

Brief Answer:
highly unlikely due to stomach cancer.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the quick follow-up,

Stomach tightness, fullness or heaviness with burning, indigestions are all the symptoms of acute gastritis. It is highly unlikely due to stomach cancer,so no need to be worried.

Gastritis or gastroenteritis is not a big problem nowadays as it can be fixed with proper dietary measures and appropriate medications.

But it should be first investigated by above mentioned tests in your case.

So,I would again suggest you NOT to worry about cancer or any other thing till the investigations done.

Regards,

Dr.Sandip Kabra

Brief Answer:
Clip devices for snoring.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your feedback,

Snoring has nothing to do with stomach gas or tightness. It is a condition but not a disease.

Before suggesting any medications,I would suggest you to see ENT doctor to check if the cartilage that divides your nose into two nostrils is bent (it is called deviated nasal septum) and nasal polyp.

Some medicines are there like Benzodiazepines (like Aplrazolam) to have sound and snorless sleep which are available on the written prescription of the doctor. However they are addictive and can be harmful on long term use.

Instead of medicines, there is a device that clips (its made of transparent plastic) around the nose and it is easy to wear. Most probably there will be No snoring issues after wearing the device. Your ENT doctor will know about it.

This device have a very good success rate, so I would recommend them for you, instead of operations and medicines with side effects.

You can buy clip devices from a good pharmacy without any prescription.

Let me know if you have more concerns.
