Question : I have been diagnosed with hashimotos thyroidus. been suffering with lack of muscle recoup after physical exertion. had severe swelling all over body. was treated for yeast infection with flucanzole. Had extremely painful period with severe bleeding. body swelling has been coming down but have large swollen ankles left one is worse with pain in ankle bone. had sensation at times lately that my bones could break at any time. have no clue what might be wrong and what type of doctor to see. My physician has no clue or suggestons.

TSH (checks your thyroid)
Free T4 (this too checks your thyroid) Thyroid autoantibodies : Anti Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) antibodies and Anti Thyroglobulin antibodies
25 hydroxy Vitamin D levels (ideal range 40 to 60 ng/ml = 100 to 150 nmol/liter)
None of these tests require any fasting and can be done at any time of the day
