What Causes Abscess At The Site Of Abdominal Surgery?

default
Posted on Mon, 3 Nov 2014
Question: I had abdominal surgery over 30 years ago in which my belly button was reconstructed (moved) from some skin being removed, into a new location. 1 1/2 years ago it disappeared, appealed to just heal over. A week or so ago a hole appeared at the old site of the opening to the belly button and oozed a foul smelling fluid, bloody and pus.
