Question : Hi I usually have a cycle of 26 days to 33 days I am now on day 35 and no sign of period. I am actively trying to get pregnant. Pregnancy tests are negative. I am worried sick that my cycle won't come back. How can I get pregnant with no period. I have never had period problems before. Could I be pregnant and if not how can I get my periods back. Thank you for your help I am so worried.

Infertility Specialist is not worried PCOS has been ruled out. He says my cycles are regular though they not to me cos they differ so much. I have had 2 opinions and they both say the same.

I have a BMI of 38 (previously 43) they just say continue to lose weight and I will conceive. Please help me I am 40 so I worry time is running out. My Day 2 FSH a couple of months ago was 7.1 and estrogen and LH were normal

Brief Answer:
Periods are just delayed

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mrs. XXXXXXX

It is difficult situation when you dont have periods on time especially while trying to conceive. I perfectly understand that.

Your FSH hormone levels seem to be fine and there is nothing to worry about it. I am sure this is not menopausal change or PCOS.

The possible delay is due to increased progesterone hormone in body which take sometime to reduce and hence lead to delayed periods. This is perfectly normal and there is nothing to worry about it.

Let me know if you need more help.

Regards
