Question : hello, I am trying to determine what is causing me to be ill when I am at home. I have had an air quality test and mold was not detected. I have a radon detector and nothing is registering. I am researching to see what else could be causing my illness. My upper body aches primarily around the upper back and chest. My stomach is also bothering me.

I understand your concern.

Aches around the neck and upper back could possibly suggest proximal myopathy.

The cause could be a metabolic one.

Did you undergo any blood work up in the past?

Since how long you had these symptoms?

Is there any history of blood pressure or diabetes?

I advise you to have following tests.

1.Complete thyroid examination.

2. Serum electrolytes.

3.Urine analysis.

4.CK with isoenzymes.

5.Autoimmune screen.

Coupled with stomach issues, autoimmune disorders have to be ruled out.
