What Causes Acne At The Hairline?

Question: Hello, At the base of my hairline I keep getting bumps that don't look like acne and I can't figure out what they might be. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

Brief Answer: acne keloidalis Detailed Answer: Hello There is a condition called as acne keloidalis nuchae. In this acne like lesions are formed at the base of skull. It mainly happens due to ingrown hair. Treatment is with intralesional steroid injrction. Can you please upload a photograph of the affected area. This will help me in giving a closer diagnosis and a better line of management. Waiting for your response. Thank you.

Brief Answer: adapalene and clindamycin Detailed Answer: Hello Dont worry these are acne. Apply adapalene gel in night and clindamycin gel in morning. Do this for 15 days you will get relief. Let me know if you have any other doubts. Thank you
