Brief Answer:
AVOID MEFTAL SPAS SYRUP. Take ibuprofen as pain killer. Rule out fracture.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome
sorry to heard about injury to your little baby.
It is better to avoid meftal spas in less than 14 years of age to avoid its sideeffects.
Confirm by X ray of hand that there is no fracture.
For instant pain relief, you can use locally diclofenac spray or gel. you can use warm water for pain relief.
Do not give aspirin to children under 16 years of age.
Children and babies over three months old can also have ibuprofen as pain killer. it is given as 5mg/kg/dose for 3 times in a day.
Hope you are satisfied with my answer.
