Question : I have had a reaction to the nasal tubing placed in my nose for a colonoscopy. I have been sneezing and nose running from it all day long. I know it is an allergic reaction to the tubing in my left nostril where I was leaning against it. Is it ok to put benadryl cream on a q-tip and put some in my nose? I think its helping.
Brief answer...yes you can apply Benadryl cream.
Detailed answer....
Hello,
I have read your query and understand your concern.
You can definitely use Benadryl cream locally and in addition may take some oral anti allergic like FEXOFENADINE 180 mg once a day for 3-4 days.
You should be all right soon.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
