Brief Answer:
This could be due to altered sleep rhythm

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. A lot of individuals developed altered appetite and weight usually during changed shifts of work. Night shifts results in changed routine and poor non refreshing sleep. This results in persistent tiredness and individuals suffer weight loss. Improvement in sleep results improvement.

Try to sleep for at least 7 hour a day.

Avoid taking tea, coffee while after night sleep.

Use dark glasses after finishing night shifts during commutation.

Avoid taking heavy feeds in morning and also during night shifts.

If persistent tiredness is also a symptom then visit a doctor for evaluation. Medicines like Melatonin or Ramelteon can help to improve the changed sleep rhythm and your symptoms will improve.

Thanks, hope this helps you. Please ask again for more doubts.

Brief Answer:
Try to follow the changes I have mentioned

Detailed Answer:
Hello again

Loss of weight by 4 lbs is not much still it could be due to chronic stress due to night shifts. Try to follow the routine I have mentioned and this will help to improve sleep rhythm. Have foods rich in protein and carbs and low in fat. This results in reduction of stress and weight loss will reduce. Try to take OTC melatonin drugs to correct the rhythm.

If symptoms persist then visit a doctor for help.

Take care

Hope this helps you, if you have more doubts you can ask again.
