Question : What are the implications of an elevated RBC folate level?

                                    Brief Answer:
Suspected vit.b12deficiency, wait for tests results
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concern.
When we measure folate, we also order complete blood count, iron levels and vit.b12 in order to analyze the whole picture.
You are right in excluding eating habits and supplements rich in folate.
As you say, as long as we do not have the full tests reports we cannot conclude anything.
I am suspecting low vit.b 12 levels however, let's wait for tests results.
Do not forget to send the results to me.
