Question : My 11 month-old grandson suddenly started blinking his eyes and sticking out his tongue. He did this several times in just a minute or two, then seemed fine.. Should we be concerned? He has never done this before.

Brief Answer:
Get him examined by a neurologist or pediatrician

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Is there any tonic posturing of body, neck turning, frothing, urinary incontinence or loss of consciousness associated with this episode?
Any history of preceding fever, similar episodes?
Any delayed milestones, Birth associated problems?
You should try to make a video of episodes if it reoccurs.
Visit and consultation with a pediatrician or neurologist will be helpful.
Possibility of seizures to be evaluated.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

I was not present but received a video from my son. I tried to upload it but was not successful. There were two RN's present at the time but they did not seem concerned as this has never happened to him before. The thought he was just trying to wink at them, as someone had apparently winked at him. Is there any way I could send you a video?

Brief Answer:
Upload with Google Drive and send link

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You can upload by Google Drive and send me link.
Try to shorten the video for uploading.
If any doctor has viewed the video and doesn't consider it to be seizure, then it's assuring.
