PS:
. if job demands sitting, make sure you get up every half an hour to relax for 5 minutes and then sit back, make a sponge cushion for your chair.
. Again piles, is due to low digestive fire and taking amla & aloe vera juice will help in cleansing the liver to speed up the metabolism.
. Do not strain while passing stool, and use warm water or wet toilet paper but without perfume or alcohol(without soap) to clean your anus after each motion
. Avoid cold/tap/jet (western seat) water.

Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for reverting back
1. these are home remedies from which you have the option to select any 1 for a minimum period of 20 days to have desired therapeutic result in your body.
. If you want to consume potato juice, it should be taken raw and in morning [empty stomach]
2. coconut water with sugar to be taken twice daily [morning/evening], until the cause of bleeding is diagnosed, and thereafter once daily [after breakfast] as prophylactic measure.
3. XXXXXXX parpati is a prescription medicine, available in Ayurveda Drug Store, manufactured by Baidyanath.
4. Old rice means which is 6 months old, but free from fungus and because the rice water content [piccha/पिच्छ] is less thus is healthy and easily digestible.
5.-
6. Since it is impossible to comment without personally examining the patient/ site, thus attending doctor and your regular follow up will decide the outcome of bleeding area, these methods are for prophylaxis.
7. As suggested earlier, if your present doctor believes that site of bleeding is not piles, thus consult with a Gastro enterologist or have a second opinion.
8. All the suggested diet mentioned is easy digestible, are not heavy/slimy and prevents constipation [being fibre rich], so if piles/fissure are there you do not want to strain yourself, so have them plenty till symptoms subside, after that dietary regime can be modified.
9. Butter milk is the best medicine for piles, but if you get cold issue with same, you may ask for prescription medicine 'takra arishta' which is disease specific and cold issues are negligible.
10. along with suggested diet you may include:
i. Whole grain foods: brown rice, oatmeal, XXXXXXX cereals, whole grain bread and whole wheat pasta
ii. Fresh fruits are high in fiber: thus include apples, raisins, prunes, strawberries, blueberries and grapes, papaya, banana, oranges, grapefruit and cantaloupe.
iii. Green leafy vegetables: spinach, cabbage, broccoli, tomatoes, cauliflower, onions, cucumber, squash, turnips, carrots, celery are also good for piles.
iv. beans: kidney beans, black eyed peas, black beans, navy beans.
PS. In case dietary and lifestyle changes do not bring about any relief from the problem of piles, you may need to start using medication for alleviation of symptoms.
11. Walking for 30 minutes is beneficial and good for abdominal problems, make sure to remain hydrated as under hydration will make harder for the stool to pass.
Practice simple Yoga posture like: Sarvang XXXXXXX Hal XXXXXXX Uttan XXXXXXX Matasya XXXXXXX chakra XXXXXXX and Pranayam.
12. Ragi/millet is a rich source of fiber thus can be safely consumed, but as you are under supervision, your attending doctor is best judge.

Clinical Evaluation of Rectal Bleeding
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for reverting back
1. You can take the said mixture, in morning because as a coolant and mild laxative it neutralizes excessive body heat and provides relief in bleeding
2. Since ‘pork’ is associated with infection, thus cooking of pork has to be proper for consumption. Trichinosis and H1N1 flu are examples.
3. Since your doctor has suggested bleeding not to be from piles/fissure, thus one can classify the bleeding as: Gastro Intestinal’ [GI] Bleeding and since bleeding is mild [in drops] and not severe thus make an appointment initially with Surgeon for necessary examination, exploration and evaluation and ask him for any further reference.
4. Since there is no identifiable underlying cause and/or secondary disease thus examination becomes important for evaluation of rectal bleeding.
