Question : Hi, I was just passing stool and my anus was hurting. I looked down and the water in the toilet had turned red from blood and the stool was brownish yellow (thick paste like form generally cylindrical ). I had already passed stool 9hrs back and it was normal. This is the first time this had happened for me so I'm a little afraid.
My eating patterns have not been normal today and yesterday. The first meal I had yesterday was some beef around 7pm, and then in the night I had rice with chicken and drank alcohol. I was up all night and went to sleep today morning around 6:30 and woke up at 12. I had a glass of sweet lime juice at 2 and smoked a cigarette. Around 4:30 I had 4 butter biscuits and 2 samosas. Haven't been drinking much water these two days. Climate is rainy.
I passed stool around 7pm today, 20 minutes back, and that's when I noticed the blood coming out. The stool itself I'd brownish yellow. Could you please help me?

Brief Answer:
Hello
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM
Thank you for the query
I understand your concern
Possibly you have a small cut in anal area called fissure in ano or piles bleed possibly due to hard stools or straining for stools
Need to avoid straining for stools
Ensure adequate water intake
High fibre diet will help
Can take stool softners like cremaffin 15 ml twice a day for five days
If bleeding recurs then worthwhile getting yourself examined
Hope this answers your query
Wish you speedy recovery

Hi,
Thank you for your response.
Is high body heat a possible reason? Also, I stay alone and buy from outside. Can you please suggest suitable food items from the following list?
Idli, dosa, sambar rice, curd rice, butter naan, paneer masala, buttermilk, sandwiches, egg, fried rice, parotta
