Question : Last week I started having right ankle pain and then it started swelling. Friday I wen to my Gynecologist and I had a yeast infection and my blood pressure was low-98/66. It is usually high and I am on medication for it. Then on Sunday I woke up and had to bruises on my upper inner arm. I have had no trauma to my arms at all. There has also been some dizziness in the last week to the point where I have had to hold on to something or stop moving until it passes.

                                    Brief Answer:
Readjustment of BP medication is needed.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. BP medication like amlodipine can give ankle edema. Also your BP is very low (98/66). So a readjustment in dosage or change to another drug is needed. Low BP can give dizziness and black outs.
What is the name of medication you take and dosage?
You should also check your blood sugar levels and HBA1C ?
Yeast infection can come when sugar level is not controlled also.
If your HBA1C is above 6 then you need to take drugs like metformin.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
