Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
To recapitulate the problems : 49 years - 6 months loss of appetite, feeling full very quickly, mild nausea, not hungry at all, have lost 5-6kg since January. low back pain on right side and low abdo pain on right side between belly button and hip and across abdomen- Family history of rectal cancer- polypectomy 7 years back- 2 colonoscopies- alternating constipation and loose motions-
Gyne: rectocele - enterocele- HPV positive- advised review after 12 months.
Yes, I think you should push for a Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen. Review colonoscopy. X-ray chest.
The possibility of cancer of the intestinal tract has to be ruled out. If necessary 'enteroclysis'= barium studies for stomach, duodenum, small and large intestine Ct / also help.
If these are normal, a proper dose of a laxative to avoid constipation can help a lot. Continue Somac, add domperidone to regulate bowel.
Avoid foods and beverages that you know cause constipation or loose motions for you. Also watch for the causes which might have increased your anxiety.
