Question: My left arm has fallen asleep for last several hours. Had broken wrist on Feb 13 but have been castles for about 1 1/2 weeks! Cannot sleep! Should I go to emergency?

Sounds like the cast is constricting

That's not a good sign.

Check to be sure you can wiggle your fingers and also, what is the status of the color in the fingertips?...

If there is bluish discoloration or any type of ashen gray color, or if the nailbeds don't have their usual pink looking self.....then, you need to get that cast off right away.....I would head to the ER without delay or things may get complicated.
