Brief Answer:
Not likely to be due to it.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Hydrocortisone SR capsules contain steroid which is an anti inflammatory. It is not likely to cause the pain in the arms that you have. The pain can be a muscular pain due to over activity or decreased fluid intake. If hydrocortisone is taken on a long term- more than 6 months then it can cause myalgia as a side effect. Since the pain is persistent even after stopping the medicine it is not likely to be due to hydrocortisone.
I hope this answers your query.
