Question : I had a colonoscopy & afterward have arythmia, could the colonoscopy cause this?

Arrhythmia is a side effects of colonoscopy and is usually related to sedative drugs used during procedure. Another factor precipitating arrhythmia is bowel distension during procedure triggering arrhythmia.

I would like to suggest contacting your doctor and going for an ecg to check for arrhythmia.
