Brief Answer:
Better to get evaluated

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Some amount of pain in pelvic area can be seen after delivery.
The severity and duration of the pain depends on factors like:
-The time gap between onset of labor pains and delivery.
-Type of delivery, in case of instrumental delivery like forceps delivery, the possibility of postpartum pain is more.
-Size of the baby
-Time taken for the healing of the episiotomy wound etc.
But usually postpartum pain will subside in few weeks after delivery.
As you are having pain for 5 months after delivery, better to get evaluated to rule out rare possibilities like sacral stress fracture, coccygeal fracture etc.
So, consult gynecologist once, get examined and go for X ray of pelvic bones.
With this workup the possible cause for your problem can be identified and treated.
