Question : Hi,
I gave birth to a baby in feb and had depo shot when discharged from hospital in feb then next depo shot in may i have never in 10yrs had a period while on depo or symptoms. But now i have what seems like pregnancy symptoms like lower back ache, one small bright red spot after toilet, sick and bloating is this just my hormones readjusting to depo shot or could i actually be pregnant again. Thanks

Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
The symptoms are quite common after Depo, and though you never had them before, it is possible that the hormonal changes after childbirth along with the Depo has led to these effects.
Just take a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.
Give yourself a few more days to adjust to the Depo.
