Question: If i had vaginal sex and the condom broke i understand in exposed to STDs. This Friday will be one month. Over the last 6 months i have been dealing with bactearial prostitis. My symptoms from that always come and go depending when im on anti bioctics i have been off meds for 3 months and have been noticing symptoms from time to time now i am having symptoms like i had previously with a dull ache in one testicule as well as a odd feeling when urinating not very stong where its painful these are all symptoms ive had in the past as well is there any std that replicates these symptoms? After 3 weeks? Or is this most likely the bactearial prostitis flaring up again? I am waiting on std results my mind is playing tricks on me.

Brief Answer:
Yes, there is chance.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Thank You for consulting HealthcareMagic!

I want to give direct answers to your main concerns first and then go into little detail.

Is this most likely the bacterial prostitis flaring up again?
Yes, it is a big possibility. Chronic Prostatitis can be either bacterial or even non-bacterial and is troublesome to get rid of it completely. Itis common that symptoms might flare up in this from time to time.

After 3 weeks?
Yes, there is chance.

Is there any std that replicates these symptoms?
Based on your sexual history and symptoms, epididymitis should also be on the differential diagnosis. So, you might need urinalysis and culture including initial stream, mid-stream, and after a prostate massage and tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea. You have to discuss about these with your treating doctor as well.

Stay healthy and thank you for consulting! You can contact me again anytime, if you need clarifications or further assistance in future. Kindly rate the answer if you are satisfied.
