Hi and thanks for contacting healthcaremagic
Bad taste in the morning is may be due to -
1) Mouth breathing in the night
2) GERD or reflux disease
3) Poor oral hygiene
Of these, Bad taste clears off after rinsing in the first two but remains to variable extent in the last one. Fatty liver perse is not associated with this and udiliv may be of no use.
Hence see a local physician and get yourself evaluated
Regards

Sir, I maintain a good oral hygiene. So the third option can be ruled out. Can you kindly elaborate what exactly is 'Mouth Breathing' and what could i do to as to not to be effected by this as a cause of my problem of bad smell and bitterness?

Hi and sorry for the delay
Mouth breathing as a term is self explanatory and occurs usually in people with snoring or nasal issues. These have to be examined by an ENT or a pulmonary physician to help you further. Meanwhile try lying down on a bed with GERD wedge and see if it makes a difference.
Regards

Thanks Doctor, I have already ordered a GERD wedge as suggested by you.
I would also like to mention that last few months while swallowing i feel something is stuck in my throat(may be food pipe), particularly when i feel a little heavy on the stomach. It feels like a grain of rice stuck in the throat and i feel bit relieved when i take PEPFIZ etc.
Has it got to do anything with the issue that's being discussed here? GERD/Acid Reflux?

Hi again
GERD is a possibility, but bad breath that resolves with mouthwash / rinse is rare. Hence see a physician to rule out any other diagnosis.
