Bad tasting mucus could be due to various reasons such as the new dentures, medicines taken, acid reflux from the stomach into the throat, post nasal drip from the sinuses, etc.
If its due to the new dentures, you will to get accustomed to it after sometime. Other causes need to be evaluated and managed accordingly. Drink lots of warm water and avoid coffee/tea for few days.
