Brief Answer:
Enuresis - probably Primary or sencondary

Detailed Answer:
Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.

I have few questions for you -
1. Has your son stopped bed wetting at certain age and again started having it now or has this been happening every year in winter?
2. If so at what age he stopped and when did it start?
3. Had he had any urinary infections in the past?

If he had never stopped bed wetting form birth...you can try some behavioural changes which I can elaborate after proper history and interaction with you, but the effect will not be immediate, but it will be permanent. If its a recurrence after attaining night time control, it could be due to pathological causes like urinary infections or Voiding dysfunction.

Please get back to me with answers to above questions and I will be glad to help you.

Dear Sir, Thanks a lot for your reply, ofcourse bed wetting was almost continous for 6-7 years but afterwards it has been reduced and now a days its hardly once-twice in year but still since he is running 12, so I'm little worried. he did not have any rine infection or any such issues in past but currently he is facing itching problem around the corner of thigh and had some infection over there which is reduced after applying candid cream.

pl suggest.

Brief Answer:
Suggestions for enuresis

Detailed Answer:
Hi...
The following are the suggestions for you -
1. Stop giving him liquids after 8pm till he sleeps.
2. He should empty his before he retires for bed.
3. While doing this he should do twice immediately so that he empties the bladder completely.
4. Early morning around 2 -3 am, you wake him up and ask him to go for loo once.
5. He should be asked not to retain the urine at any cost.

This seems like a secondary enuresis as you say he was not bed wetting and he started it only now.

By this method it may take weeks to months to get better but it will definitely get better.
I also suggest you to do an Ultrasound abdomen to rule out bladder thickening and voiding dysfunction.
I wish your kid a speedy recovery. If you need any future medical consultation and suggestions, I will be glad to help. You can approach me at the following link. Please find the link below.
