Question : my husband has not been feeling well with stomach, stools are black like tar but usually firm and last night vomited and was bloody or red. of course is fatigued but assume from getting up at 3 am and not done working till 7pm and has been working 7 days a week for over 10 years

These symptoms may indicate bleeding in gastrointestinal tract and he should do gastroscopy first to rule out ulcer or gastritis. This should be done, as soon as possible if you ask me since bleeding may be worse. Wish you good health. Regards
