Brief Answer:
See a dermatologist, or your primary doctor (explained below).

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

Are you able to upload a digital photo? There is a button on the right side of the page you used to write your history/question that says "Upload Reports". You can use this to send photos if you are able.

Without being able to see the black area, I can't really tell you specifically, but it may be something that needs to be addressed promptly.

Please make an appointment with a dermatologist, and if you can't get an appointment soon, make the appointment but see your primary doctor in the mean time.

It could be anything from a bruise to a melanoma lesion. I can't tell from your description. It can also be seborrheic keratosis (benign) if it looks like it was stick on rather than growing from inside.

So please go in to get this checked out in person.

Note: Hope the answers resolves your concerns, however for further guidance of skin related queries consult our Dermatologist.Click here to book a consultation
