What Causes Black Spot On Corner Of Lower Lip?
Question: Hi Doctor,
My eight month old baby has black spot on the corner of her lower lip. This spot appeared when she was 5 months old. When we consulted a doctor at that time he said it is totally normal and because of excess iron in her diet. The spot has not subsided in the last three months. Currently she is breast fed and also takes rice cereal or ragi (finger millet). Her height and weight are normal, and she has no other complications apart from passing black poo at times.
