Brief Answer:
May help if uroinfection is present

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
I am not sure what you mean by full bladder but antibiotics will help if there is uroinfection and this should manifest with burning pain during urination, fever and possibly chills. Pain caused by urine retention is something else.and should be treated with catheterization and full bladder may be risk factor for uroinfection. So you should do urine analysis and ultrasound to establish is there infection or not. Wish you good health. Regards
