Question : Had a baby at 31 weeks on 5 XXXXXXX Bleeding increased n few clots. They did scan today but as bladder was not full they could not see properly but looked like XXXXXXX products are retained.
What does this mean and what needs to be done?

When some parts of pregnancy like placetal tissue or membranes are left behind they lead to bleeding you mentioned.
If they find them in ultrasound scan they will remive it by curettage under anesthesia.

What if i dont want to remove them? Do i have to?

If these stay for long time they might lead to infection , blood loss and even death.
Better to get them removed.
