What Causes Bleeding From Urethra After Removing Cancerous Growth In Bladder?

Question: I had a procedure to remove a cancerous growth in my bladder 3 days ago. I am suddenly unable to pass any urine and have oozed some blood.
Brief Answer:
Rush to ER, may need to pass a catheter.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of a procedure to remove the cancerous growth in the bladder 3 days ago and now suddenly unable to pass urine and have oozed some blood.
The commonest reason is impaction by a blood clot at the bladder neck.
Please do not force to pass urine as it increases the bleeding.
I would advise you to rush to the ER as you may need catheterization to evacuate the bladder and the clot.
And need to see if the bleeding ceases on its own or may need to look into the bladder for cauterization or so.
I hope this answer helps you,
