Question : My wife says she has blood coming from uterus.
Doctor said it is due to a fibrome . Doctor said to take hormones. But she is reluctant.
I wonder : is it safe to have sex with her ?
If not, how do I have a satisfactory sexual life ?
Last month we did not have sex as she was tired .

Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:

1) Hormonal medication mainly cyclic progesterone and Tranexamic Acid group of drug will regress uterine fibroid and reduce or arrest heavy bleeding. Kindly, consult with her doctor for complete prescription.

You will try to understand her the fact and complication in future related to uterine fibroid/ bleeding. She may require one Psychological counseling.

2) You can do sex with her only after bleeding controlled. She must take IRON supplements to combat anemia along with prescribed treatment. Until then, you will do more foreplay, blow job/ hand job etc for sexual satisfaction.

What if she does not want to take medications because suffering from severe stress ?
She fears complications ,cholesterol increase, weight gaining,...
She wants to wait until october and see what happens until there.
