Question : sISTER FELL AND NOW HAS BLEEDING OF THE FRONTAL AREA OF THE BRAIN. SHE IS 80 YRS W/COPD. WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF SURVIVAL?

It is now my understanding the the bleed is now more into the brain. Now she has been taken to surgery. More bleeding around the brain. As for as a cat scan I don't know about.

If she has been taken up for surgery fairly early, at the right time, she would survive. Immediate surgery would prevent compression/damage of the normal brain. However, recovery to full consciousness and regaining strength would take a lot of time.
