Urethral sounding causes pain, bleeding and infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your concern.
Why experiment with urethral sounding ?
It's done for certain urological indications only.
And what's a small beginner sound ?
It's done by an Urologist, trained urology staff or taught to the patient,if needed.
Any sounding can cause bleeding, pain and infection, leading to urinary frequency.
Bleeding is due to injury to the urethra,by the sounding.
The bleeding will stop gradually, but may cause a narrowing, called a stricture.
You should consult an Urologist and do the following tests :
1. urine routine and culture.
2. blood routine,creatinine,RBS,LFT,platelets,BT,CT and PT.
Show the reports to the Urologist,as that will help in advising treatment.
You may send the reports here, for an expert opinion.
