Question : I've been on prilosec 20mg a day for about 5 months. About a week ago I quit taking it cold turkey and ever since I've been experiencing a mild bloating feeling in my lower abdomen as well as looser than "normal" stools. I am not using the bathroom more frequently than usual as I still only "go" once a day. I know these symptoms could be caused by multiple things but wondered if this could be related to the stoppage in Prilosec. Otherwise healthy 36 year old male

No it is not related with prilosec

Prilosec is not associated with any withdrawal symptoms and your current symptoms of bloating and loose motions are not related with discontinuation of prilosec.
