Question : Hello Doctor,

I was sleeping turned on my left. I was sleeping with my left ear place on the pillow for the entire night. When I woke up in the morning my left ear was blocked. I could hear less from the left ear. One week has passed now & I am still unable to hear properly from my left ear.

Please suggest remedy.

Hi,

It is only temporary hearing loss because of wax. You should put DEWAX one drop thrice a day for five days. After this you should see a doctor for wax removal.

I advice not to attempt to clear it on your own, many a time you will end up harming.

Hello Doctor,

Is it a very serious concern ? I am also having cough & cold. I am unable to understand how could wax develop all of a sudden overnight ? When I slept to my left with my left ear on the pillow ? Could my ear / drum have suffered some damage by the weight ?

Cough and cold could cause temporary impendance in hearing. The edema that is developed because of cough and cold would increase the already impacted wax.

It is not serious. As I said you should have done the above measures.
