Question : I have had a small blood blister for 20+ years on my chest roughly over heart. Over the last 3 days I have occasional times when it feels like a hot prick for a few seconds around this spot and then goes away. Definite feeling of concentrated heat but then quickly fades. I have not noticed any other symptoms, no numbness or tingling. I am 47 year old male. Thanks!

Brief Answer:
Has the blister changed over the years?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I will like to have an image of this blister. I will also like to know if this has changed in the way it looks and size over the years. If there have been no changes, then monitoring this a little longer to make sure it is for real a permanent occurrence would be helpful.

For now, try soothing measures like caresses, ice/ht pads, etc to relieve the feeling of discomfort if unbearable.

I hope to hear from you. I wish you well.
