Brief Answer:
Endometrial pathology should be ruled out

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Heavy prolonged bleeding in your age group can be due to dysfunctional uterine bleeding, endometrial hyperplasia or very rarely endometrial carcinoma, when other causes like fibroids and adenomyosis are ruled out by ultrasound.
You should be given norethisterone or medroxyprogesterone acetate for the control of bleeding and treatment of dysfunctional uterine bleeding or endometrial hyperplasia.
Confirmatory diagnosis can be made by endometrial biopsy and histopathological examination.
I will suggest you to discuss these options with your OBGYN specialist and get appropriate management.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Wishing you good health.
