Brief Answer:
Clotting profile, hematological consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,

In case these blood clots are generally unrelated to any trauma, a proper evaluation is required.

It might be important to know if you got any one in the family tree complaining of similar symptoms. Clotting disorders, characterized by increased tendency to form clots do exist. It might necessary to get a proper clotting panel or profile done by your hematologist. This shall be important to diagnose the exact cause, and for avoid such a clot from maybe forming in a vital structure like the brain, kidney, liver or heart that could have severe and more dramatic consequences.

Blood disorders, stagnation of blood for a long time without proper drainage and blood vessel wall disorders are the main triggers of abnormal clotting. Identifying the exact cause might require the expertize of a hematologist. I suggest you book an appointment and meet one.

If I have also been having a lot of headaches and fatigue, would these be related symptoms?

Brief Answer:
Not very likely to be related.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the update,

Headaches and fatigue might not really in my opinion be related to such symptoms. Fatigue could set in in case you had notion is severe blood loss, which is not the case with you.

Headaches need special clinical review. The timing, periodicity, intensity, associated aggravating and relieving symptoms are needed to better evaluate, diagnose and manage. Headaches could be primary like migraine, cluster or tension headaches. In case of fever, history of sinus infection, visual disturbances, the evaluation would be different.

Making a link of these symptoms with the fatigue and headaches you are experiencing might be very difficult to establish. I still an initial evaluation by your hematologist is a good option.
