Bloody discharge from the vagina at the age of 70 years can be due to senile vaginitis, senile endometritis, hormone replacement therapy, or due local lesions in the cervix, vagina or uterus like cancer or polyp.
I will strongly suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist for proper internal examination, pap smear, ultrasound, endometrial biopsy and get further treatment accordingly.
