Question : I am having blood discharge in semen. Is this a prostate issue?

Blood discharge in Semen (Hemospermia) can be due to one of the following few factors
1) Infection of seminal Vesicle
2) Infection of Prostate
3) Cancer of prostate
4) Uncontrolled Hypertension
5) Drugs like Aspirin

If it is a single isolated episode of blood in Semen (Hematospermia) it usually gets resolved .However if it is persistent and is prolonged over a month you need to consult qualified Urologist for clinical and Digital Rectal examination and investigations .
