Question : I had blood in my semen. I'm 86 years old.

Hi and thanks so much for this query.

I will only get concerned if this happen over and over. Otherwise, there is no reason to get alarmed as this can be an incidental observation. Most often than not, this results from the prostate as a fragile vessel might give way.

If it persists we will proceed to analysis of the semen and examination of the prostate. Otherwise, there is no reason to get so panicked.

IN all, observe and let me know if this happens with future ejaculates.
