Brief Answer:
Can you upload the result of colonoscopy...

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX!

I'm happy to known that you have removed the polyp and it was find to be a benign tumor.

The gold standart to diagnose Crohn disease is colonoscopy with biopsy. Can you upload the result of colonoscopy and biopsy for me so i can give a more precise opinion?

More over stress may aggravate your symptoms (like gas, cramps ect) so i recommend to avoid unnecessary stressful situation.

I'm waiting to have the requested data report.

Colonoscopy to repeat after 1 year...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

If no cancer was found, no other tests is necessary to run.

You need to repeat colonoscopy after 1 year to evaluate the presence of polyp re-occurrence.

All the best!

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

Thank you for your follow up query.

Yes, I agree with your doctor: You have less chances to develop colon cancer when polyps are removed.

The main aim is to minimize trauma to such vegetations (polyps). If they are not removed, feces would cause persistent trauma. Thus, these vegetations would be bleeding, or be u nder persistent trauma that would change its nature toward cancer.

If these polyps are removed, no trauma or no damages would occur, thus, less chance for cancer.

Hope it answered to your queries!

Brief Answer:
Nothing worrisome,continue with follow ups

Detailed Answer:
Hi back XXXXXXX

If you follow such follow up scheduled appointment, you'd be able to prevent cancer onset. I am not saying you are going to have cancer. I am explaining the normal schedule of follow ups when polyps are removed.

There are many of my patients that have been removing polyps frequently, and they have lived a longer life.

You do not have to worry about longitivity of your life as long as you run regular follow ups.

All the best!
