blood in my stool
Brief Answer:
Probably hemorrhoidal bleeding
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
These are probably hematomas caused by colon or rectal bleeding which in most cases include benign diseases such as hemorrhoids, polyps or anal fisure. some more serious condition are rare in your age,but it would be good to check your red blood count and if there is anemia, you should definitely do colonoscopy. otherwise, this should be treated with easier diet, high fibre food sufficient hydration and then observe if this will improve. If there is associated pain, nausea or bloating then you need to see proctologist as soon as possible. Wish you good health. Regards

yes i have anemia
Brief Answer:
Then colonoscopy required
Detailed Answer:
In this case, colonoscopy is definitely required since anemia may be caused by chronic gastrointestinal bleeding and this may indicate polyps or even tumors. in most cases, polyps can be removed endoscopically. of course,it is possible that anemia is caused by other things but since there is rectal bleeding, this is first thing to check and only colonoscopy is sensitive enough.
